And we are back!!! We are super excited to welcome youth hockey back to Portrane, Hockey will resume from Monday the 26th of April and will run throughout May and June.

Please see our timetable attached, Notice for training will be sent out as before via ClubZap.

Hockey Ireland notes confirmation from ROI Government that underage hockey can return to non-contact training from April 26th, the first step on a phased return for hockey at all levels of the game.

The following changes have been made to the Hockey Ireland Covid-19 guidelines given the latest announcement on Covid-19 restrictions made by the Irish (ROI) Government:

  • From April 26th, socially distant non-contact training in pods of 15 (inclusive of the coach) is permitted at all players/teams under 18 in both clubs and schools.

Remember that you must confirm attendance and complete the Covid questionnaire via ClubZap no sooner than 2 hours before your child’s session.

Assuming there are no change in the restrictions, we are planning two junior Summer Camps,

Camp One: 5th - 7th of July

Camp Two: 3rd to 5th of August.

Camp booking details will be sent out via ClubZap in the coming weeks.
