This year, instead of our usual 'Last Man Standing' competition focusing on the football league, we are running a competition that incorporates all the events of what is an amazing summer of sport.

From the European soccer championships to the Olympics, the football and hurling championships to the Lions tour, Wimbledon, the Tour De France and the local championships in Meath, we are inviting all our members and friends to test their expertise in the coming weeks.

The link below contains all the events that invite predictions as to who will win.

It's 10 points for a winner, five for second place.

Obviously, some events will be more difficult to predict than others but those are what we expect will divide the best from the rest at the end.

Entry is €10, the link is attached and entries will be accepted up to Wednesday, June 17, even though Euro 2020 will have started by then. But at least it will allow you to assess early form.

Updates of the leaderboard will be given as events are completed during the summer.
