TV Rights
Eagerly anticipated after an absence of 8 years, behind the scenes meetings have been ongoing over the last number of weeks in relation to TV rights. It has been rumored that that the club have secured a 3 figure sum for the Tv rights and a 2 figure sum for the Highlights package. Live Pay per View options are being explored also at the moment.
Management Teams
The selection of management teams is proving to be just as contentious as the Team panels and Interviews have been taking place over the last number of weeks and the club have been very impressed by some of the Squad plans presented to the committee.
There were some excellent power point presentations on the pre season preparations and strength and conditioning however the social element was also highlighted with several team meetings being convened in the local watering holes recently. In fact it has been rumored that each Management team has secured the backing of one of each of the local watering holes for the Parish League campaign. The Pumphouse, McGregors, Gillys, Caseys and Gleesons. It is unknown at this stage which pub is behind which team. The only confirmed link is between the Pumphouse and Kilmurry for obvious reasons. Have the Mountain secured one of the village pubs as a backer??
Some members of the management teams have been confirmed and negotiations are ongoing with S&C and hurling coaches who will be announced in the coming days as their terms and conditions are finalized.

Player Panels
A committee was established to look at the player panels for the 2022 league and meetings have been contentious. Rumors' of backhanders have been denied by the club and legal challenges regarding Townland boundaries have been dealt with by club solicitor Stiofan Fitzpatrick. The committee have decided to release agreed panels firstly to the management teams and then the management teams can add to these initial panels with any player not already included on the Team panels.
The initial team panels consist of players who played last year. But as we all know the novelty of the parish league is the display of skills from men of yester year or the young fella arriving on the scene or an unknown player from far flung places whos ability is potential is feared and has to be planned for!
To that end there will be a requirement that a number of places on each team will be for players that did not play last year. Rules on participation will be published shortly also.
Game Fixtures to be Published Shortly.
