Last Saturday on a bright sunny morning in Gurteen, our under 8 girls competed in their first camogie blitz of the year.
Three teams were involved - the hosts Doora Barefield, Parteen & Sixmilebridge.
17 Sixmilebridge girls split across 2 teams and a fantastic showing of coaches took to the field for this pre-workout challenge, with all roads aiming towards the upcoming start of the "Go Games" blitz's starting at the end of this month.
Each team played 3 very competitive games and there was some great displays on both of our teams across these games. The girls have been working hard on the skills in recent trainings and all of these were on full display throughout the mornings action.

The girls continue their training on a Tuesday & Thursday each week and there is plenty of blitz's ahead in the coming weeks.
