Having survived on a diet of puck-outs and sideline cuts for the past number of weeks, Longwood's football fans can satisfy their craving on Saturday evening when our Intermediate Footballers take to the field in the opening round of the championship.

Kildalkey provide the venue, Drumbaragh the opposition.

Longwood endured a disappointing league campaign but are approaching full strength and have proven before that they can raise their game come championship time.

Drumbaragh posted some excellent wins in the league and are sure to pose a stern test with the likes of Harry O'Higgins and Hughie Corcoran in their ranks.

The game is scheduled to start at 6.30 p.m. on Saturday evening.

Please come out and support our boys. They certainly deserve it, as anyone who witnessed their performance against Killyon on Sunday can attest to.

Remember admission is by ticket only - cash will not be accepted.

Tickets must be purchased online at https://www.universe.com/events/meath-gaa-meade-farm-group-ifc-drumbaragh-v-longwood-tickets-0LFVZP?ref=universe-discover
