A massive thanks to the FAI & Mrs. Brown's Heart Care programme for our new Defibrillator. Without this lifesaving piece of kit our community were vulnerable, now equipped to deal with and provide cardiac care, hopefully we never need to use it :)Paul Whelan (FAI - Football Developemnt Officer for Finglas) was on hand to present the defibrillator to our club secretary Derek Tyson who accepted the device on behalf of Finglas Celtic Fc. Liam Martin (Founder member) & Gerry Tyson (Chairperson) were also present at the event. The next steps are now the training element, as part of this fantastic opportunity we will have 10 people trained on the use of this device, we will have more information in the coming weeks. In the meantime, this device will be located in the main hall of our club house protected by a code lock to prevent unnecessary access, please note the code will be available from the club's office or a club official contact phone number that will be displayed on the box.
