First off, very best of luck to all who are starting their Junior and Leaving Cert today. Remember the field is always open for a few pucks to relax with your friends in the evenings of you want a break from your studies or a friendly face to chat with.

In recent weeks some of our players have been playing in County finals with their schools.

St. Caimins

Congratulations 2 of our most exciting hurling prospects - Fionn Hayes and Mark Sheedy who were recognised at the end of year awards at St. Caimins. Fionn picked up the Student of the year award and All Ireland winning goalie (has a nice ring to it) Mark picked up the Hurler of the year award.

St Flannans

Conor Keogh was part of the St. Flannans team who lost in the Clare First years final to Tulla. Conor lined out at Full forward in the game played recently in Cusack Park.

Ard Scoil Rís

The presentation of the Dean Ryan medals took place recently for our 4 boys Cuan mc Gilla Geara, Cillian Murphy, Ben O Connell and Dylan Keogh. Club Chairman Syl O'Connor was in attendance on the night representing the club.

The same 4 boys wrapped up the year with a win in the Limerick U16.5 Championship also - Well done boys
