On the back of three successive defeats, Longwood's Intermediate Footballers find themselves in a relegation play-off.

While there are essentially three chances to preserve their Intermediate status for 2024, the boys will be keen to grasp the nettle at the first available opportunity.

That opportunity presents itself on Thursday evening @ 8:00 in Carnaross.

The opposition will be familiar on a number of scores. The team is Drumbaragh whom Longwood defeated in last year's championship.

The opposing manager is Davy Cahill who started the season as Longwood's manager before departing and eventually taking up a similar post in Drumbaragh!

It should certainly add some spice to an already crucial fixture.

Please come out to cheer the boys on - your support could make all the difference.
