1. Your personal data which we collect and obtain
- ClubZap Limited is a company or what some people call a business. In this document, we use the term ClubZap, and we use terms such as (“we“, “our“, “us” or “ClubZap“) to refer to us. We are based in Cloughoolia, Sixmilebridge, County Clare, in Ireland and we may use personal data (“Personal Data“) belonging to you as shown below.
- Your Personal data is (broadly) any personal data which relates to you or identifies you.
- This Privacy Statement (“Statement“) sets out what we will do with your Personal Data as well as our responsibilities and your rights.
1.2 How this Statement works
This Statement is split into two sections, the first section sets out details relating to (1) the ClubZap website, and the second section sets out details relating to (2) the ClubZap platform which is accessible on the website, or downloadable in the form of an application from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, (the “ClubZap Platform”).
The Personal Data that you give us will be held by us as a data controller which means that we will be responsible for what happens to it. We take this role very seriously. There is a ClubZap Platform Terms of Use set out at [INSERT] which may apply to you from time to time if you use the ClubZap Platform, and not just the ClubZap Website.
1.3 ClubZap Website
We may collect and process the following data about you arising from your use of the ClubZap Website:

2. The ClubZap Platform
We may collect and process the following data about you arising from your use of the ClubZap Platfrom:

3. Who We Share Your Personal Data With
We may disclose your Personal Data to some or all of the following recipients:
- We may send your Financial Information to selected third parties (as discussed in the Terms of Service) in order to facilitate payments on the ClubZap Platform.
- Regulatory authorities and law enforcement agencies (where we must share your Personal Data in order to comply with any legal obligations we have)
- External advisors e.g. lawyers, accountants and auditors (where we must share your Personal Data in order to protect our legitimate and legal interests)
- Service providers such as an online storage server for IT purposes
- External sporting government bodies such as the Gaelic Athletic Association and similar bodies.
- In the case of investment transactions, we may transfer your Personal Data to appropriate third parties such as due diligence providers. In the case of the sale of ClubZap, or any of its assets, we may transfer your Personal Data to relevant third-party companies.
4. Storage And Transfers Of Your Personal Data
- Your Personal Data will not be stored or sent outside the European Economic Area (“EEA“) which is a block of countries which closely resembles the EU states.
- We hold all of our Personal Data in accordance with appropriate standards of IT security. If you would like to find out more about the appropriate safeguards that we have in place you can contact us by contacting us at the following address privacy@clubzap.com.
- Unfortunately, sending information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data where it is sent to or from the ClubZap Website or Platform; any transmission is at your own risk.
- Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access as much as we can.
5. How Long We Keep Your Personal Data For
- In general, we expect to keep your Personal Data for as long as is needed for the purposes for which we collected it from you. However, please note that in certain circumstances we may hold certain of your Personal Data for a longer period, for example, if we are processing an ongoing claim or believe in good faith that the law or a relevant regulator may reasonably in our view expect or require us to preserve your Personal Data.
- The criteria we will use to determine the period for which we will hold your Personal Data include: (a) the length of our relationship with you; (b) whether we are under a legal obligation under Irish or European Union law which requires the retention of your Personal Data; (c) whether the retention of your Personal Data is required in light of our legal position.

- The Website contains links to other websites (“Linked Websites”). We are not responsible for the privacy statements or practices on Linked Websites. This Statement governs only information collected on the Website. When accessing Linked Websites, you should read the privacy statement published on the relevant Linked Website. The terms of our Statement do not apply to Linked Websites. Please check the statements on those Linked Websites before you submit any Personal Data to Linked Websites.
- The Website contains links to other websites and resources provided by third parties for your convenience and information only. We accept no liability in connection with any Linked Website, or any contract entered into with any third party on or through a Linked Website. We have no control over the content of those websites or resources as we have no role in how they operate and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of Linked Websites.
7. Your Rights
You have a number of rights in relation to your Personal Data as set out in the table below.
Note that in certain circumstances these rights might not be available to you as a result of other laws competing with one another.

8. Changes To This Notice
- We may change this Statement on occasion, in whole or part, at our sole discretion. Any changes will be posted on this page which will be kept up to date. Please check this Statement regularly for changes.
- If at any time we decide to use your Personal Data in a manner which is a lot different from that stated in this Statement, or otherwise disclosed to you at the time it was collected, we will change this Statement, and you will have a choice as to whether or not we can use your Personal Data in the new manner.
