Double North titles

It was a memorable weekend for the club with not one but two North titles brought back to the parish. Our under 13 hurlers overcame a stiff Kiladangan challenge on Sunday morning in Templederry to clinch the North ‘B’ title by 6-7 to 3-9 (see report). Our under 13 hurlers now face Moycarkey-Borris on Saturday next in Annacarty in the county semi-final. (throw-in 12 noon). Best of luck to all involved.

It was then on to Borrisoleigh for our North U-19 ‘B’ clash again against Kiladangan and although we trailed by 1-02 to 0-12 at the break a tremendous second half performance saw us emerge as 3-12 to 0-15 winners after Darragh Treacy and Sean Nolan netted the all important second half-goals (see report).
