Longwood's Intermediate Footballers take to the field on Saturday knowing that victory will ensure survival, and maintain their championship status for 2024.

Bective provide the opposition and it's interesting to note that despite both clubs being established at the intermediate grade, the teams have not faced each other in recent years.

While the opposition may not be familiar, the venue (Boardsmill) certainly is.

We urge all Longwood supporters to make the short journey and come out to cheer on the team in what is a crucially important fixture.

Throw-in is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. so plenty of time to get home to watch the rugby!!

Tickets cost €10 and can be purchased at https://member.clubspot.app/club/meath-gaa/events/4175
