For the last number of years we as a club ran the Penny bank. Not we, Sean Carton ran the penny bank from his office in Market square.
The committee last night had a meeting to figure out the next steps and after looking into the Penny Bank and the undertakings thereof, it was quickly realised that the running of the Penny bank is a full-time job in itself. This is something that unfortunately we as a club cannot undertake at the minute, from a time perspective it's hard to have another volunteer take up from where Sean and Francis left off.
Unfortunately, therefore the Penny Bank will not continue this year.
