A few weeks ago, we mentioned the achievement of Gaelscoil An Mhuilinn Ashe Road Mullingarin winning the Under-11 North Midlands Credit Union quiz. The super team of Orlagh, Ethan, Óisin and Kayleigh, three of whom play for our Under-12 teams, went on to qualify for the All Ireland Credit Union quiz final.
After winning the local Credit Union quiz in February, the team continued on to win the regional Chapter 15 event in March in Moate and at the weekend represented Gaelscoil an Mhuilinn and North Midlands Credit Union in the National finals in the RDS against 44 other teams in their age group.
With some very tough questions throughout the team performed very well proudly wearing their Mullingar Shamrocks colours.
And by the way, the Leinster Final of the Scór Tráth na gCeist takes place next Sunday at 12.15 in The Clubhouse.
