Mikey Corbett's Junior Bs started their league campaign with a good win against St Josephs Doora Barefield last Sunday in O' Garney Park. They trailed at halftime by 7 points, Sixmilebridge 0-6, Barefield 1-10. A good comeback in the second half aided by a goal from David O' Connor saw them win the game in the end by 6 points which was a fantastic turnaround from the halftime score and they kept Barefield to 1 point in that second half. There was a significant breeze blowing on the day also. Good for the Bridge on the day were some of the old stalwarts, David O' Conor, Kieran Liddane, Donald Devanney and Robert Conlon and aided by some of the younger lads especially Dara Twomey who was very solid at wing back and made some great runs up the field.
