Bunratty ladies kicked off their season on Thursday 25th of April against last seasons league winners Moyross.
Bunratty started well holding Moyross at 0-0 until the 37 minute when a header found the back of the net. Coming in at half time one goal down Bunratty were confident that they could get back into the game.
However once the second half got underway Moyross scored again making it 2 nil.
Bunratty scored a goal to get back into the game, a super finish for Enya Kelly in her first game for the club.
Pressure from last years winners proved too much however and they managed to score two more making the final score 4-1 on the night.
The ladies are looking forward to the rest of the season especially with 3 new players in Enya Kelly, Peig Healy and under 16 player Cara Power who all made appearances on the night.
