With the hurling and camogie seasons now in full flight at all grades we would love to have the scoreboard in operation at all games across all grades. Tom and Anna have been doing a great job to date but its impossible for them to cover every single game in the main field - so we are looking to develop a team of scoreboard operators who could share the load. It's not a terribly technical role, all you need is the time to attend the games and to stay focused.
This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to help out in the club but may not be involved at any capacity at the moment, you could be a parent, grand-parent, aunt, uncle - you are all vert welcome. We will have a hands on training session for everyone who volunteers we will sit with you for your first game or for however long you feel comfortable.
It would be great if we could get a cross section of volunteers to cover adult and underage across both hurling and camogie.
