During the 2023 and 2024 John Reidy Hurling Tournaments our senior hurlers raised money for the Dylan Quirke Foundation.

This foundation was set up after Dylan sadly passed away on the Semple Stadium pitch in 2022 aged just 24 from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome  (SADS). Its aim is to screen as many kids in Ireland between 12 and 18 as possible for SADS. Visit https://www.dillonquirkefoundation.com/ to learn more.

After the 1st session at Clane GAA on 11th July where 45 of our 12-18 year old members were screened, we have now added a 2nd date on August 1st. The test will take approximately 20 minutes and results will be sent directly to participants. Click on the link below to create an account and  book your slot. Visit https://bookings.ameds.ie/booking/from-code?code=clanegaa

Please note! Places are limited and will fill up fast so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Many thanks to our Senior hurlers and the Dillon Quirke Foundation. Please come out and support our senior hurlers as they commence their Championship campaign this Saturday evening against Maynooth in Manguard Hawkfield at 7.30pm. Tickets for the match are available from the Kildare GAA web site at https://kildaregaa.ie/tickets/ and U16s have free entry.
