After one of the best weeks in the club's year, as it is every year, so many great people have made the success of the last week a shining example of why the GAA is such a powerful force for good in this and every community.

We can only thank the army of volunteers that made it all possible.
And the very same people that have driven the MAIs for so many years.

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
A superb traffic management crew. Not a glamour role but upper most in terms of making the experience a positive one for all.
Well done to you and our sincerest thanks.

SHOP STAFF
All the Shop staff. A superb effort.
The Slushy Machine was man of the match.
We're presuming Slushy Machines are male.

REFEREES
Thanks to the referees. What a fantastic job by many of our younger players.
A brilliant link from underage, juvenile and younger groups.
They will all be teammates in the future.

FIRST AID
Another busy group was our first aid team. Thankfully no serious injuries this week but when the minor ones happened, they were dealt with such tender, caring professionalism and we thank them for their time.

COACHES
Blessed by a cohort of dedicated coaches everyone pitched in once again to make the week special for the boys and girls.
The atmosphere was outstanding all week long and the pitch and tone for all of that comes our coaches and their attitude of giving. Congrats and well done to all.

PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
Sometimes we tend to forget the Mams and Dads, parents, guardians.. Getting off work early, finishing up before time, clearing out schedules, and making sure we can all get up to Ballymastone on time across the week is a job of work. All played a blinder. We thank you all

HOPE FOR ZOE
A lot of us are parents. And we all know what we would do to protect and care for our children. And little Zoe Mills and the Mills family need our help. Little Zoe is undergoing treatment currently, but the big step involves treatment in the US.. and that will require serious support. That's what GAA Clubs do in time when people need help and support, we give it.

SPONSOR
Thanks to Maxol Turvey. A huge sponsor and a business that has backed the MAI since the start. We are forever grateful.

ORGANISING COMMITTEE
A big thank you to all involved especially Guillaume for driving it from the off. The whole thing from start to finish ran like clockwork. Thanks to Céire Rhein for working the magic on the lens as she always does and to Barry Graham for breaking out the drone and generating spectacular images. All contributing to a massive success and a testament to the dedication and commitment by Guillaume and all the team.

GALA EVENT
The next big landmark event will be the Club's Centenary Gala Event.
This is being held in Croke Park on Saturday Nov 16 and it promises to be a brilliant night of fun, stories, celebs, craic agus ceoil.
And we want the entire club and welcome the whole community to join us and be present on the night for a night of great celebration.
