EVERYDAY IS A SCHOOL DAY📚🔑💚FRIDAY FUN with our ÓgDwyers coaches 🥳🥳
In O’Dwyers GAA, we really value coach education , our coaches are always willing to learn🙌🏼we’re extremely lucky that some of our more experienced coaches are willing to lend a hand and share their knowledge 🧠📖📎
With that said, some of our ÓgDwyers coaches embarked on an evening of learning on Friday, with great attitudes all round😆😆20 enthuastic young people discussed the traits that makes a good coach, what were the needs of a nursery player and how we as a team can attend to their needs.
They explored the IDEA and STEP methods and participated in a workshop on how to plan for nursery stations.
A fun and welcoming environment where experienced and new youth coaches explored the coaching element of the games! 🚀
A huge THANK YOU to Denise Corcoran (coaching officer) , Ger Lyons (who has so much knowledge and experience that he kindly uses to help others) and Gary (our Games Promotion Officer) for such a professional course delivered to our youth coaches! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😀😀😀
