Well done to Rusty who togged out for Galway in the very first masters hurling game against Tipperary over the weekend.
Former Oranmore Maree hurler Paul McGrath lined out for Tipperary Masters and Rusty for Galway Masters

Tipperary emerged victorious with a score of 1-23 to 0-18. However, Galway's players put in a strong effort, with several standout performances despite the loss.

Noel "Rusty" Qualter from Oranmore Maree was a key player for Galway and a handful for lar Corbett. Rusty contributing four points from play and demonstrating his experience and skill on the field. His performance was crucial in keeping Galway competitive throughout the match.

Overall, while Galway struggled to maintain consistency throughout the match, individual performances from players like Qualter, Healy, and Mc Donough kept them competitive.

Noel "Rusty" Qualter will be stepping onto the field again, this time for the Galway Masters Football team in the All-Ireland final against Cavan in a few weeks after their hard fought win over Wicklow in the semi-final. Given his impressive performance in the Masters Hurling match, where he scored four points from play, it's clear that he's in great form. His versatility and skill in both hurling and football make him a valuable asset to both Oranmore Maree Junior C's and Galway Masters.
