All 3 Minor Football teams in Action on Sunday
The club is lucky enough to have over 80 lads playing across 3 Minor football teams and competitions in 2024 for the second year in a row. This is a testament to the commitment and support of all the coaches, players and parents involved.
All 3 Teams have important fixtures this Sunday as their competitions enter the latter stages !
Our Minor A side face a tough away game to a strong Tuam Stars on Sunday at midday. This is Round 6 of the County Football Championship. With 4 wins and a draw so far, we are on course for a county semi final but still have work to do with 2 games remaining.
Our Minor B team travel to Mervue also at 12pm on Sunday where they face St James in the Minor B West Semi Final. After a terrific quarter final away performance where they saw off Claregalway after extra time, they now have St James standing in between them and a place in the final.
Our third minor team face Monivea Abbey on Sunday in Monivea with a 6pm throw in. This is the final round of the U17D Championship, and a win will see the lads qualify for the final!
