Health and Wellbeing Week
Silvermines GAA will be hosting a Health and Wellbeing Week from the 23rd to the 28th of September. There will be a number of events happening throughout the week in our Dolla GAA grounds including the visit of the Marie Keating Foundation’s Mobile Unit which will be providing awareness on a healthy lifestyle and early detection in reducing cancer risks.
There are also plans for running and walking classes, Pilates classes and strength and conditioning classes for all ages. Please check our social media sites for upcoming details of all events.
Premier Intermediate
Well done to our premier intermediate side who had a 2-19 to 0-15 win over Sean Treacys in their relegation semi-final clash in Dundrum on Sunday afternoon last. We would like to thank the team, mentors and management for their time and commitment over the year and we look forward to the coming 2025 season.
Junior B Hurling
Our Junior B hurlers will face Newport in the upcoming North final in Puckane on Saturday afternoon at 5pm in Puckane. Best of luck to our team and mentors in what is sure to be a cracking encounter.
Junior C Hurling
Our Junior C side face Kilruane MacDonaghs in Dolla on Sunday next at 12 noon. Best of luck to all involved.
U-13 Hurling
Well done to our U-13 D hurlers who defeated Carrick Davins by 3-12 to 1-3 in the county semi-final in Holycross last weekend, all three goals coming from Liam Treacy. The boys are now out in the county final against Holycross/Ballycahill in Holycross on Saturday morning at 11 am.
Also well done to our U-13 A team who won the North Tipperary shield final by a solitary point, 2-4 to 2-3 in Dolla on Saturday morning after defeating Ballina in the semi final and Kilruane MacDonaghs in the final.
Lotto Jackpot
Our club Lotto is now at 12,500 euro. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online.
