It was with great sadness we all heard of the sudden passing on Sat last of our esteemed former Vice-Chairman, Pat Bennett.
A quiet, gently spoken man, Pat gave huge service to Erin's Own as a Juvenile selector and coach, executive committee member and as Vice-Chairman. Always available to give a hand, he spent many many hours in Caherlag over the years working on developing the facilities which are now available and his contribution is greatly valued by all who now use these facilities.
Pat is a huge loss and his passing is deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Whilst we all mourn Pat, the loss to his wife, Mary, children Damien and Sonia and the extended family is far greater and we extend the deep sympathy of all our club members and supporters to them all at this very sad time.
May Pat Rest in Peace.
