Health and Wellbeing Week
A very big thank you to all who assisted with and attended events for our very successful Health and Wellbeing Week last week. The event proved a huge success and we are very thankful to everyone who helped out to ensure the week ran smoothly.
Junior B Hurling
Our Junior B hurlers overcame Holycross/Ballycahill by 3-22 to 4-24 in the county quarter-final in Templemore on Saturday. Well done to all involved in what was a high scoring affair. Best of luck to our team and mentors in the upcoming county semi-final.
U-15 Hurling
Our U-15 B hurlers are down to play Portroe in Moneygall at 11 am on Sunday morning next in the semi-final of the North shield competition. Best of luck to all involved.
Under-21 Hurling
We have been drawn alongside Kiladangan, Nenagh Eire Og and Roscrea in Group 2 of this year’s North Tipperary U-21 ‘A’ championship. The current fixture sees us face Kiladangan in round one on Sunday October 20th at 12 noon in Nenagh.
Junior C Hurling
Our Junior C side overcame Nenagh Eire Og by 1-13 to 0-11 in Nenagh on Sunday morning last. Silvermines led by 1-9 to 0-7 at the break with the goal coming from Liam Grace in what were very blustery conditions. Further second half points from David Boland, Liam Grace, Kieran Fogarty and Fionn Ryan Mulqueen ensured the Mines’ held out for a deserved victory.
Junior B Camogie County Quarter Final
Commiserations to our Junior Camogie side who were defeated by Clonoulty on a scoreline of 1-9 to 1-3 on Sunday in Clonoulty.
U-13 Camogie
Well done to our U-13 camogie side who scooped county hours in the Gold Cup final in Moneygall on Sunday morning. The final score was 2-0 to 0-0 with Saoirse Ryan netting both goals for the ‘Mines.
U-16 Camogie
Hard luck to our U-16 camogie side who lost out to Boherlahan in The Ragg in their county semi-final on Thursday evening last.
Lotto Jackpot
Our club Lotto was won on Tuesday night last. Well done to Noel Kearns who scooped 12,600 euro. The jackpot now returns to 3,000 euro. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online.
