Kildare Camogie Junior A Championship Final, Ardclough v Moorefield, 13th Oct 2024.
Comhghairdeas to our Junior Ladies and Management who were victorious in the Kildare Junior A Championship.
It was a very closely contested game with Ardclough dominating throughout a very exciting first half. Ardclough held a lead of 4 points at halftime - Ardclough 1-4, Moorefield 0-3.
Both teams started well in the 2nd half. Moorefield took the lead with 15 minutes to go, leaving the Ardclough ladies with an uphill battle to overcome a 3 point deficit. A fantastic performance from all players. Ardclough triumphed on a final scoreline of 5-7 to Moorefield’s 2-9. A very proud day for Ardclough Camogie.
Well done to Ardclough and Moorefield’s underage players who played each other during the half time break, showing off some excellent camogie skills.
