U19 Footballers claim County Title
Congratulations to our U19 players and management team as they were crowned U19A County Champions last night in a foggy Duggan Park in Ballinasloe. Highlights HERE.
In a terrific encounter, played between 2 excellent sides, our lads came out on top against Dunmore MacHales on a score of 2-18 to 2-14. Both sides played their part in serving up a treat for the sizeable crowd but it was the Oranmore Maree lads who proved unstoppable to claim the John Power Cup and our first A County title at this level in 30 years ! Congratulations also to Harry Keady who deservedly won Man of the Match after a stellar performance in midfield.
A memorable night that was the culmination of a lot of hard work behind the scenes.
Thank you to all involved.
Many of the panel will now need to recover and refocus quickly for our upcoming IFC Semi Final on Saturday week.
Best of Luck also to those players who will be lining out for our Minor Football team on Sunday in the Minor A County Final in Tuam Stadium.
