It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of Oliver Plunkett.
Oliver was a founding member of Simonstown Gaels and played in the first team back in 1965.
His grandsons Nicky and Nathan O'Brien played for the senior team in 2016 and 2017 and his other grandson Rian is currently a minor player.
We send our sincere condolences to Olivers daughters Mairead and Angela and all his family and friends at this sad time.
