Yesterday was another special day in the club as the annual juvenile awards took place marking another successful year in the development of the teams from Under 8.5 through to Under 14.
The numbers continue to grow within the juvenile sector and the hall was packed for the enthusiastic group of Under 6’s and Under 8.5’s who started proceedings. Each and every one of the group received a certificate to mark their level of involvement across 2024.
Special guests on the day were the two great ambassadors for the club Aaron McKay and Aoife McCoy both of whom achieved national success and recognition this year with Ulster and NFL success for Aoife and of course All Ireland success for Aaron topped off with his goal in the final which will live long in the memory. Both were generous with their time and brought hugely sought after silverware with them for the photo hungry souvenir chasers.
Indeed the ranger of silverware on show was the envy of any club as it took pride of place at the top table.
