Last Sunday the U15 Hurlers headed to the foothills of the Dublin mountains to take on Thomas Davis in their final league game. This game would have no effect on the finishing position of St. Finians having secured second place with our win in our previous match.

Right from the throw-in every ball was heavily contested. At half-time Finians held a single point lead 0-6 to 0-7. The second half continued much the same as the first with a consistent flow. As we approached full-time, Thomas Davis grabbed a goal and despite Finians best efforts we went down fighting to a 2-point deficit at the final whistle.

Congratulations to the U15 lads on a fantastic campaign. Every game was played right to the final whistle, with all players contributing as much as they could. Each and every one of them should be very proud, they really are a brilliant bunch of lads. Thanks also to our parents, sponsors & club officials who helped get the team out week after week. #finiansabú
