Navan RFC made history on Sunday by fielding a Senior Women's 3rd/J2 XV for the first time, in a friendly match against a MU Barnhall XV. This milestone highlights the growth and depth within Navan's women’s rugby program.
The lineup for this historic match combined players who came up through the club’s youth system along with members from the extended women’s squads. The game offered valuable playing time for those looking to compete for spots in the Leinster Women's league teams, with Scrum-half Sarah White putting in a strong performance to be named "Player of the Match". With this addition, Navan RFC has now fielded an impressive seven adult sides this season.
