O'Dwyer's started strong, with quick, precise passes that set up their first goal within the opening minutes. Castleknock responded with grit, managing to put their first point on the board. Our defence held up really well and won the ball at crucial times. Midway through the half, the girls in green pounced for another goal. Castleknock managed a well-placed goal late in the half, leaving the score at 2-3 to 1-1 in favour of O'Dwyer's at halftime.
Second Half💚
Castleknock came out with renewed energy, determined to close the gap. Despite their efforts, O'Dwyer's defense held strong, while their forward line continued to press, adding another two goals and several points to widen the lead. Castleknock managed another goal, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide. O'Dwyer's closed the game with a flurry of points, showing their consistency and skill right up to the final whistle.
