Navan Women’s 2nd XV ended 2024 on a high note, climbing to the top of the Leinster Women’s League Division 4 standings with an impressive 29-12 away victory over the Emerald Warriors. This win marked their sixth victory from seven games, keeping them firmly in contention for the league title.

Navan dominated with a five-try performance, with scores from Ciara Delahunt, Lisa Keenan, Paula Keating, Siobhan Beggy, and Louise Coyle, supplemented by conversions from Anna McGarry and Lisa Keenan. A stellar display by Kaetlin Wallace in the second row earned her the “Player of the Match” honor.

Navan’s win moves them one point clear of Roscrea, who remain the only team to have defeated Navan this season and have a game in hand.
The two title contenders are set to clash when the league programme resumes after the festive break in a pivotal match on Sunday, 12th January, at Balreask Old, kicking off at 1pm.
