On Sunday 22nd May last our U9 Boys Team took part in Kilmacud Crokes' GAA Club U9 Boys Festival of Football in the UCD Sports Grounds, with 2 Teams of 9 players representing us. There was a great national aspect to the day, with our Lads having Austin Stacks, Kilmacud Crokes, Naas & Nemo Rangers in their respective Groups, with Salthill Knocknacarra & St. Johns among others also in attendance.
Each of our Teams played 3 games in their Group, followed by a Parade of the Teams behind a Bag-Piper, who led them to their Pitches for the finale they qualified for, standing to attention for Amhran na bhFiann, before the finale kick-off.
Our Boys represented the Club brilliantly on the day and a big thank you to all the Coaches & Parents who helped out on the Day & Trip. A great day for Killinkere CLG, taking to the Pitch with such Teams in the mix; here are some photos from the day & Festival!
