Late Brian Kenny

It is with great sadness that we send our heartfelt condolence to the Kenny and O'Shea families on the death of Brian Kenny.

Not too long ago Brian joined us, as a sponsor, to take some photos with some of our juveniles and our new centenary Jersey.

Although living in Wexford, Brian never lost his passion or love for our great club. His family name has been steeped in our club for most of our 100 years of existence, for that we are eternally grateful.

Along with Brian's club achievements, 2 counties, 1 Munster club, numerous South's and other honours, he also wore the blue and gold of Tipperary.

He played minor, Intermediate and won a National league title and a Munster title with the seniors in 1968, unfortunately Tipperary were beaten in the final by Wexford.

Brian’s funeral will leave Enniscorthy after 12 Mass on Thursday and the burial will take place in Faugheen cemetery between 2-2.30pm approx.

The club will be doing a guard of honour for Brian on Thursday in Faugheen. Please be there for 2pm in club colours, all members, supporters and friends are welcome. The funeral mass can be viewed on the link on RIP.ie
