Sarsfields and Glanmire Healthy Clubs

In collaboration with the Glanmire Men’s & Ladies Football clubs, as well as the Sarsfields Camogie club, we are excited to participate in the GAA Healthy Clubs programme!
This will kick off with the Every Step Counts challenge on Wednesday the 11th of January. We encourage all clubs members and their family & friends to participate through walking or running, and tracking steps via the Irish Life My Life app. Let’s get fitter and achieve >4,000km together to win for our clubs & the community.

Sarsfields & Glanmire Healthy Clubs have had a great response to the Every Step Counts Challenge which starts on Wednesday. Why not walk our steps together? As many you have seen on Operation Transformation, participating in the Ireland Lights Up initiative would be such good fun and give our community a great buzz about the steps challenge.

The initiative starts on Wednesday too and we will meet at the Sarsfields clubhouse @6.15 Weds evening with a view to starting our walk @6.30pm sharp. GCC has kindly allowed us to use their new walking track.

Things to note:
📷 Everyone is welcome, apart from dogs due to school policy
📷 If you have a high viz vest, please bring it. We will have some for those that don’t.
📷 Dress appropriately for the weather. Please don’t bring umbrellas.

The more the merrier. Looking forward to building up our steps and KMs together!
