The honour of launching the Meath 2023 club season falls to Longwood and Ballivor on Thursday evening.

Both teams have been drawn in Group A (along with Meath Hill and Castletown) of the Corn Na Boinne cup competition for Intermediate clubs.

While Longwood and Ballivor will be without their county players, we can be sure both teams will be keen to get the season under way with a solid performance.

The game is scheduled to start @ 8.00 p.m.

With January now in the rear-view mirror and a Bank Holiday weekend on the horizon, we urge you to come out and support the lads.
