Every Friday evening our Fins All Stars train from 6pm to 6.45pm at the Ball Wall.  We are currently looking for volunteers to help with coaching. If you are interested in helping out in this very rewarding role please contact Sarah Nixon on childrensofficer.fingallians.dublin@gaa.ie.

SWORDS MEMORY CAFÉ

What a wonderful morning for all at the CareChoice supported Swords Memory Café in Fingallian's last Thursday. This month the theme was Valentines Day with a great attendance, music, dance & exercise to complement the lovely food.

This free community initiative supporting those who are at the centre of our community would not happen without the great band of Fingallians volunteers. There’s always a need for more. Our numbers are growing each month so we will need more help. You will get back 100 fold on the time you give. Great chat, stories and a cup of tea with your neighbours.

Once again the gentleman that is Noel McCaffery had everybody up and getting moving

Thanks also to Sinéad and the dancers and Deirdre once again for the gorgeous baking.

Next one is March 16th, which will have a St. Patrick's Day theme. Spread the word.

There is also a memory café in Skerries GAA on the second Wednesday of the month.

Juvenile Section

U/8 Boys

The U8 boys had their first taste of Go Games in Hurling last Saturday. Half of the boys played away against Castleknock and half played at home against Na Fianna. The boys demonstrated great skills and good sportsmanship across the board. They are looking forward to facing Castleknock again this coming Saturday for football and will also host Erin Go Bragh at home in Kettles Lane. Future is bright in Fingallians

U/9 Boys

Our U/9 boys played at home against Scoil Uí Chonaill and away against St. Peregrines at the weekend.
Great fun was had in both games. The boys enjoyed getting back to some air hurling and pitch time.  All the mentors & parents very proud of them all!
