Thanks to Mick Donovan for facilitating the Gers’ first KETSO session with Juvenile boys and girls players.

The aim of the session was to hear how our younger members feel about the Gers to help understand what we can do to make the club a  better place for them.

Well done to long-standing member Eoin MacMaoilir for getting this initiative going and thanks to Cabinteely Community School for use of the venue. A great initiative. (Photo 1)

Our Dads n Lads side played Thomas Davis on Friday night in a sun drenched Cornelscourt.

Well done to both teams for hanging around after the game for a refreshment or two!

The team have a busy few weeks ahead, St Anne's visit Cornelscourt next Friday and then they head to Athlone for a Leinster Blitz on the 10th of June!

New players are always welcome.  (Photo 2 & 3)

The U8s Boys team had a great football match v Templeogue Synge St at Cornelscourt on Saturday.

Here is one of the coaches Declan Byrne pictured giving one a half-time motivational pep talk to the lads. Well done all! (Photo 4)

Hard luck to the Under 15 girls team who lost in the final play of their match against Binn Eadair on Sunday.

It was a fantastic display by both teams and there was great support for our girls. (Photo 5)

Our Adult Ladies team had another impressive win in their cup match over Lucan Sarsfields on Monday night in Cornelscourt.

The team also celebrated Lisa Keenan’s birthday after the match, she has been a mainstay of the team since it’s return to the adult leagues!

Her son Jake plays for the Gers and husband Joe coaches our 2012s group.

Happy birthday Lisa from all in the Gers! (Photo 6 & 7)

Best of luck to our Adult football teams who are both in action this week, our AFL5 team host Ballyboden tonight in Ballyogan and the Nua team play Cabinteely on Thursday evening.

Well done to all who were involved in club activities this week, enjoy the sunshine as we head for the June Bank Holiday!
