As you may be aware 2023/24 registration is now open and the fee can be paid over four instalments. Our fee has remained the same this year including our Family Membership fee of €550 with the exception of the girls teams which has increased by €20 to try bring closer in line to the boys fees.
New DDSL fee
We have also been advised by the DDSL that a new fee has been introduced for all players. This is outside our control and is for all DDSL clubs. It must be paid in order for players to play in the league. The DDSL Fusion Player Self Registration Portal is open and will remain open until 31st March 2024 during which all players can register to any DDSL Club once they are compliant with the rules of the FAI. All parents will need to upload a picture, ID (passport/Birth cert) and pay the league fee of 30 euros. The registration will only be complete when a club allocates the player to a team. This ensures every player is on the team squad lists/match cards and is eligible to play. The DDSL has issued this guide for all parents to aid the completion of the DDSL Player Self Registration Process.
The following explanation was also provided by the DDSL
What is the DDSL Parent/Player fee for and how is it broken down? The fee of €30 covers insurance for all players registered to the league, FAI registration fees, LFA and other affiliate fees which represent about 50% approx. of the fee (with some areas still being finalised), with the balance being allocated to administration, staff costs, IT investment and the like.
Please don't hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any issues with registering for either Leixlip United or the DDSL.
