Come and support your club!! More spectators needed!
Over the last few weeks there have been a record number of supporters at our home games. It’s a huge boost for the players who are fighting hard to have strong finishes to the season. It’s also incredibly important that younger players go watch senior teams so that they can see and learn - it will be them soon enough. It is also valuable for parents who are supporting their children in sport to see the Senior section in action.
At this stage of the season there is a raft of exciting matches as we progress into the business end of leagues and cups. Our top teams are in serious national and provincial cups and have secured strong semi final berths.
We’d like to see much more of both our young and senior players at games both home and away.
This week for instance there are a host of great games to go and see. Here’s the list - pick one and go along.
It would be great if you could travel to the 2 ‘Very Big’ games. On Thursday the Women’s 1s are in UCD Belfield at 20:15 in the semi/ final of Leinster’s top Trophy - The Jacqui Potter Cup
On Sunday the Men’s 1s are facing one of Irelands strongest teams Three Rock Rovers at 2:30 on Grange Road in the semi finals of the Mills Cup.
