Geraldines Ladies finished the season with some silverware after they defeated Kilkerley Emmets in the Relegation Shield final. Despite playing against a strong wind the girls only trailed by 1 point coming up to halftime. However Kilkerley scored 4 points in the last few minutes of the half to lead 10-5 at the short whistle.
Geraldine’s cut into Kilkerley’s lead from the word go in the second half, they drew level after 15 minutes and soon established a 3 point lead. Credit to Kilkerley who fought to the end and were unlucky when a shot came back of the post with minutes to go.
Geraldines Scorers: Emma Gartlan 0-9 Rebecca Carr 0-2 Eilis Hand 0-2 Clodagh Corcoran 0-1

Many Thanks to Tom , Damian & Caroline for all their efforts over the season. Also thanks to Richard Tiernan from Tiernans SuperValu for his continued support of our senior ladies team.

Enjoy the break everyone
