Autumn time! Gers round-up 🚨
It’s been a busy few weeks on the pitch for our club teams.
Our U10 Girls were in action recently with a high quality game of camogie against St Sylvesters, well done to the girls and their mentors.
While our U8 Boys had a great battle versus Naomh Olafs at the end of last month, and the team are going from strength to strength.
19 of our U9 Girls were in Camogie action at the end of last month when they took on St Judes in 4 Camogie games.
Our U11 Boys were in action recently against Parnells in Ballyogan, with excellent teamwork on display from our boys, well done lads!
Our U8 Girls were in Bohernabreena to play St Anne's on Sunday morning, the team put in a tremendous effort over the games played.
Our U13s Girls won their away semi-final to Whitehall Colmcille on a scoreline of 3:7 to 5:7. The girls will have a final to look forward to in 2 weeks. The coaches would like to thank the parents for persevering with the M50 chaos!
Our U12 hurlers took to the pitch on Saturday. A very competitive outing from our Black team v Ballinteer. The boys - many of whom are playing up an age group - played very well and never stopped.

Our Ambers were in a Div 4 top table clash v Clan na Gael at home in MV. The boys went in level at half time and pulled ahead in the 2nd half with a strong wind behind them. The boys are on the cusp of a top grade Dublin title and are a credit to the club. They have a final formal outing on Oct 19th against Naomh Fionnbarra. Well done to all the squad.
Well done to members of our G4M&O team and other club members for completing the Devils Glen and Glanmore Castle Loop this Sunday in difficult weather conditions.
Hard luck to our U14 Boys team on losing their football Shield semi-final away in Balbriggan against O’Dwyers on Saturday. The lads put in a great effort and were narrowly beaten down the stretch.
Our Adult Men’s Footballers enjoyed an end of year team bonding trip to Carlingford last weekend, we hope our lads enjoy their off-season before a return to training in January.
And a reminder that a date has been set for the Gers Christmas Party, it will take place on the 30th of November at the Killiney Castle Hotel. So make sure to keep the date in your diaries!
