The Geraldines GFC is very sorry to announce the sad passing of Philip Marks.

Philip was a Geraldines man through and through. Obviously talented from a young age, Philip played through the ranks with St Furseys and then through to the senior team, winning an intermediate championship in 1995.

An elusive corner forward , Philip was always a scoring threat and got us over the line on more than one occasion.

After returning from Canada, Philip gave great service to the club. A coach, PRO & more recently linesman.

You knew you could rely on Philip. It’s hard to believe that cheeky grin won’t be seen around the community again.

Our deepest sympathies to his sister Camilla, niece Isobel , brother in law Derek and all  Philip’s family and friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
