On Saturday 7th, the biggest day in our Juvenile calendar takes place. The 9th annual Frank Maher U10 tournament takes place in the sportsfield at 10am.
240 kids from Galway, Down, Clare, Cork, Waterford and Tipperary will entertain the masses with an exhibition of hurling. The tournaments philosophy is based around fun and sportsmanship and has gone from strength to strength over the years.

Frank Maher
Frank was and will always be a legend of St. Mary's. He gave his life to promoting the game in Clonmel and especially to his beloved blue and white. In our club at present it is taken as gospel to move our youngsters indoor during the winter months to continue improving the skills all year round.
The idea for this brave move came from Frank along with many other insightful ideas through his long association with the club. For this and many other reasons, we are honoured to call this great competition after such a stalwart.
