Navan RFC invite the local community (within 5km under current COVID restrictions) to use the walking tracks on the club’s grounds. We hope that all the local community can avail of our facilities and enjoy the opportunity to walk in the fresh air and in safety.

Navan RFC have been granted a Sports Capital Grant to build a walking/running track around the club grounds. The club are in the process of getting tenders for the completion of this work, which we hope to have completed by mid-year.

In the meantime, we have setup 2 tracks, mostly on grass, to allow the community to walk in safety in the club grounds.

See the diagram below for the layout of the tracks which measure 800m and 1km, around the periphery of the pitches.

We do not allow dogs onto the club grounds for Health & Safety reasons. We would ask you that if you see people walking dogs within the club grounds that you politely remind them of this rule. If people persist in walking dogs we will have to close the club grounds to all.

When walking in the club grounds, please…

  • stick to the tracks as outlined in the diagram
  • avoid the playing areas of the pitches
  • be mindful of litter
  • do not bring your dog
  • adhere to all current COVID restrictions and recommendations
  • and finally, enjoy the facilities Navan RFC have to offer!
