Our U13s girls played Skerries Harps at home in Rivervalley this afternoon in their first Shield Final.

We had a strong breeze against us in the first half but nonetheless the girls powered through and led by 1:3 to 1:2 at the end of the first half.
The team came out in the second half and this is where they really showed their improved skill and determination. They all worked together as a team and totally dominated every area, constantly marking their players and winning their first final with a great result 4:8 to 1:2

We couldn't be happier for the girls, the coaches are incredibly proud of them and we look forward to getting ready for next season over the coming weeks.
