Well done to our U13 hurlers who defeated a skilful and determined Granagh-Ballingarry side in the U13 D2 county final on a scorline of 1.11 to 1.7. We started the game well and opened up a 3pt lead thanks to scores from Kian O'Keeffe and Jack but an excllent Granagh-Ballingarry side came rigth back at us and having raised a green flag we went in level - NCW 0.05 Granagh-Ballingarry 1.2. It was nip and tuck in the second half until a brilliant goal from Kian O'Keeffe, after one of this trademark runs, put daylight between the sides and allowed us to hold on for a memorable victory.
Well done and a huge thank you to Pat Horgan, Seamie O'Keeffe and Tom Ryan for all the work they have done with the boys over the past number of years, the hard work is really paying off!
