The first league match for U16 Avoca boys team, coached by Trevor Dagg, took place against Monkstown in Rathdown on Friday night. Avoca came from behind twice to draw the match 2-2, with cracking goals from Cameron Owen and new recruit from France, Joseph Dewerdt. It was an excellent start to an exciting season ahead for the boys.
