Gers weekly round-up

U8 Boys played Kilmacud on Saturday in evenly contested hurling games. Thanks to Kilmacud for hosting. (Photo 1)

There was a great hurling outing for our u11s boys team on Saturday away to Whitehall Colmcilles.

The Gers put on a strong display of skills. Some of the players are pictured here (Photo 2)

One of our U13s boys teams had a superb win over Naomh Olaf in Cornelscourt.

Our U9 Camogs were in action against Crumlin. (Photo 3)

It was an epic tussle in Crumlin with our girls  learning and improving every week.

Well done to them and their coaches.

Our Adult Ladies team had another superb victory in Cornelscourt on Wednesday, the team are top of their division. (Photo 4)

Both our Adult footballers were in action last week, our Nua side lost to Crumlin.

While our Division 5 team beat Round Towers (C), scoring 6 goals in the process. (Photo 5)

Special mention goes to Cian O'Brien who represented the Dublin U15  hurlers in games v Tipperary and Down at the weekend.

Cian is the first juvenile hurler from the Gers to play for his county, he is pictured here with his parents Linda and Stephen. (Photo 6)

Fabulous achievement, and we hope he paves the way for many Gers hurlers to follow.
