Finally the day we’ve all been waiting for….after months of intense pre-season preparation in Enda Leonard’s Gym under Enda’s eagle eye, on the training pitch harried & cajoled by Der Murray and in feisty encounters across the playing fields of Meath in both a gruelling League campaign and arranged weekly encounters against teams from adjoining counties….

CHAMPIONSHIP Day has dawned…..

CLONARD GFC v. DRUMCONRATH

Today at 7.30pm

VENUE; Grangegodden, Kells, A82 C5H0

The team would like to express their gratitude to Daly’s Construction (ICF & Building Contractors), our main sponsors.

Paddy Daly’s jerseys have been tugged, pulled & stretched to the limit but are as tough and resilient as the homes that he builds.

Freshly laundered by Orla & Louise, carefully folded and placed in their new kitbags generously provided by their teammate, Eoin Treacy and his company, SME Group.

Our senior footballers take to the field this evening against Drumconrath, their ranks swollen by eager new players. A blend of wily experience and youthful exuberance.

Please come along today and support your team. They are proud to represent our Parish, our Community and our Club and they need you there this evening on the terraces of Kells.

Ar adhaigh Cluain Ioraird, faigh a bhealach.

Clonard ábú.
